What is an online research panel?
An online research panel is a community of individuals with similar interests, and experiences, who have voluntarily chosen to participate in online research studies about various topics related to their common interests.

What is the Vodafone Voice Panel?
The Vodafone Voice Panel is a group of New Zealanders who are dedicated to shaping the future of telecommunications in NZ. Panel members have the opportunity to share their opinions and ultimately influence the offers that Vodafone and ihug take to market.

Members of the panel reside in NZ, and are interested in sharing their opinions on topics relating to services provided by Vodafone and ihug.

What are the benefits of being a panelist?

How do I register to become a Vodafone Voice panelist?
To register as a Vodafone Voice panelist, click on the "Join Now” button on the home page of this site and complete a short profiling survey about you and how you use your phone.

What are the requirements to join the Vodafone Voice Panel?
Anyone with a mobile phone can be a panelist. As long as you have an interest in influencing what products & services we offer, we are keen to hear your views.

How many surveys do I have to complete?
We encourage participation in as many studies as you are invited to take. In order to be considered an active member of the Vodafone Voice Panel we ask that you participate in at least three panel studies per year.

How do I complete a survey?
You will be e-mailed a unique URL address for each survey. Simply click on that URL or cut and paste it into a web browser of your choice and complete the survey form online. Survey length is closely controlled to minimize the use of your time.

How long will I have to complete each survey?
You will typically have anywhere from 72 hours to one week to complete each survey.

What information is required to become a panel member?
A brief member profile is the only information required for joining the panel. Your member profile will include basic contact information and vital data - gender, ethnicity, income and education. Panelists who wish to participate in other programs such as focus groups or other special events may be asked to provide additional information.

Will my profile information be sold to other companies?
The Vodafone Voice Panel profile information is not sold or distributed to any company. All information is strictly confidential and privacy is guaranteed. Your name will never be sold, exchanged, or distributed to any other party without your express acknowledgement. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

How long will I remain on the panel?
You may remain on the panel as long as you choose to participate in at least three surveys per year. Members may remove themselves from the panel by sending an e-mail request to support@vodafonevoice.co.nz

Will I be able to select the types of surveys in which I participate?
Yes. In the member profile, when you tell us about your lifestyle and interests, we will use that information to send you surveys that fit your preferences.
